Just like old times

Este foi, sem dúvida, o outfit que mais gostei de fotografar, mas vou contar-vos tudo desde o início.

No sítio onde moro costumava haver uma grande fábrica de lanifícios, que acabou por fechar há já alguns anos. Num dia de tédio, eu, a Sabrina e o meu namorado decidimos ir visitar a fábrica e ficámos absolutamente surpreendidos com aquilo que vimos. A fábrica está abandonada e já foi alvo de vandalismo.

Mais tarde, fiz algumas perguntas à minha avó, que é costureira, e costumava trabalhar com tecidos da fábrica e ela contou-me algumas coisas. No meio da conversa, lembrou-se que tinha um antigo pedaço de tecido ainda fabricado lá e eu apaixonei-me por ele! Por ter gostado tanto dele, fiz a saia que veem nas fotografias e para mim, apenas fazia sentido fotografar o outfit ali.

Fiquei super curiosa com aquela fábrica ao ponto de pesquisar na net, em vários arquivos e bibliotecas, tanto onde vivo, como na capital e não encontrei nada...

Voltámos lá para fotografar o outfit e visitámos melhor a fábrica... se eu fiquei curiosa da primeira vez que lá fui, desta vez fiquei muito mais... Encontrámos tanta coisa antiga estragada e vandalizada... Parte-me o coração ver que uma fábrica que já foi uma mais valia para a minha cidade agora esteja assim!

Voltando ao outfit, escolhi uma camisa super romântica, repleta de folhos para conjugar com a minha nova saia. Espero que gostem!

This was undoubtedly the outfit that I liked the most to photograph, but I will tell you everything from the beginning.

Near from where I live there used to be a large wool factory, which it ended up closing some years ago. On a day of boredom, me, Sabrina and my boyfriend decided to visit the factory and we were absolutely surprised by what we saw. The factory is abandoned and has been vandalized.

Later I asked my grandmother, who is a seamstress, and used to work with the factory fabrics, she ended up telling me a few things. In the middle of the conversation, she remembered that she had an old piece of fabric that was made in this very factory and I fell in love with it! Because I liked it so much, I did the skirt that you see in the photographs and in my opinion it only made sense to photograph the outfit there.

I was very curious about that factory to the point of searching online, in various archives and libraries.

We went back there to photograph the outfit and visited the factory better ... if I was curious the first time I went there, this second time I got much more ... We found so much old stuff spoiled and vandalized ... It breaks my heart to see that a factory that was already a plus for my city now be this way!

Returning to the outfit, I chose a super romantic shirt, full of ruffles to match my new skirt. I hope you like it!

Já tinha ouvido falar sobre o carvão ativado em vídeos de várias youtubers e as suas propriedades e porque não experimentar?

Laila London is an English cosmetics brand that does not test their products on animals and only uses natural components in its cosmetics!

I have heard about activated charcoal in videos of various youtubers and their properties and why not try it?

O produto serve como uma pasta de dentes (na embalagem referem que o produto substitui uma pasta de dentes normal, embora eu não o tenha feito totalmente) em pó. A marca aconselha a lavar os dentes com este produto 2 vezes por dia para obter melhores resultados. Dos ingredientes podemos salientar menta, gengibre, limão, canela e coco, em diversos estados.

The product serves as a powdered toothpaste (on the packaging they say that the product replaces a normal toothpaste, although I have not fully replace it). The brand advises to brush your teeth with this product 2 times a day for better results. Of the ingredients we can emphasize mint, ginger, lemon, cinnamon and coconut, in several states.

A aplicação|The application

Deve molhar-se a escova de dentes com água. Em seguida, deve colocar-se uma pequena porção do pó na palma da mão. Deve passar-se a escova de dentes molhada em cima do pó, para que este seja absorvido. Deve escovar-se os dentes de forma normal, durante 1 a 2 minutos. Em seguida deve enxaguar-se a boca e a escova de dentes, sendo necessário lavar-se mais um vez os dentes, desta vez apenas com a escova molhada, para retirar pequenos resíduos de pó.

Wet the toothbrush with water. Put a small portion of the powder in the palm of the hand. The wet toothbrush should go over the powder so that it can be absorbed. You should brush your teeth in a normal way for 1 to 2 minutes. Then rinse your mouth and the toothbrush, and you should wash your teeth again, this time only with the wet brush, to remove small dust residues.

A minha experiência|My experience

A primeira coisa que estranhei foi a textura. É totalmente diferente de uma pasta de dentes tradicional, mas com o tempo torna-se normal. O sabor é agradável: tem um leve sabor a canela, que se vai dissipando ao longo do tempo.

Testei o produto durante um mês - no início lavava os dentes apenas 1 vez por dia com este pó, no final, passei a lavar 2 vezes por dia com o mesmo pó, para ver se se notava diferença. Logo nas primeiras lavagens notei uma ligeira diferença no tom, que se vai tornando mais percetível ao longo do tempo. Notei que com a utilização do pó 2 vezes por dia era mais eficaz do que só 1 vez, como comecei a testar. Senti que os meus dentes estavam tão bem lavados como se tivessem sido lavados com pasta de dentes normal.

The first thing that struck me was the texture. It is totally different from a traditional toothpaste, but over time it becomes normal. The taste is pleasant: it has a slight cinnamon flavor, which dissipates over time.

I tested the product for a month - at first I washed my teeth only once a day with this powder, at the end up washing twice a day with the same powder to see if there was any difference. At the first washings I noticed a slight difference in tone, which becomes more noticeable over time. I noticed that using the powder 2 times a day was more effective than just 1 time as I started testing. I felt my teeth were as well washed as if they had been washed with normal toothpaste.

Opinião final|Final opinion

O produto tem um preço de 10 libras (aproximadamente 9 euros e 30 cêntimos) e como é usada apenas uma pequena porção a cada lavagem, o produto dá para muito tempo.

Continuarei a usá-lo diariamente, porque noto que de dia para dia os meus dentes vão ficando mais claros e bonitos, de forma natural.Se tivesse de dar uma nota, dava-lhe um 8 em 10.

One of my skincare secrets (+ Laila london review)

Olá queridos leitores , este post é muito diferente do que eu custumo postar, mas pensei que algumas de voces iam gostar. Acho que todas andamos a lutar contra a acne e imperfeições faciais , apesar de existirem algumas pessoas com sorte, que não tem qualquer tipo de problema neste aspeto. Eu tenho a pele mista e por vezes uma boa esfoliação e uma boa máscara fazem falta!

Tive a oportunidade de receber um incrível produto 3 em 1 da Laila London , ou seja , uma máscara , um esfoliante e um "cleanser" para a cara mas também para o corpo. O que adorei neste produto é o facto de ser 100% natural e conter carvão ativado o que absorve toda sujidade e oleosidade da pele, mas também tem outros ingredientes muito bons para prevenir acne e uniformizar o tom da pele. Quando se aplica a máscara tem de se esperar 3 minutos para se remover para podermos sentir a pele lisa e hidratada. Eu aconselho este produto especialmente às pessoas com a pele mista ou oleosa porque este produto faz milagres em vários aspetos.

Dear readers , this post is really different from what i usually tend to post on here , but i thought that maybe some of you would like this post. I think all of us struggles with acne and skin imperfections , although some people are lucky to have none of these problems and are blessed with "baby skin".

I have a mixed skin combination and sometimes a good exfoliation or a good facial/mask can be needed from time to time!

I had the opportunity to receive an incredible 3 in 1 product from LailaLondon , which is , a mask/facial , scrub & cleanser for your face but also for your body. What made me fall in love with this product is the fact that it's 100% natural and it contains activated charcoal that absorve all of the dirt and oil of the skin , but it also contains more powerful ingredients that prevents acne and that can unify skin tones.When applying the mask/facial there will be a 3 minutes wait before removing it so afterward you can have a soft and hidrated skin . I highly recommend this product especially for people with mixed or oily skin because it does miracle in several aspects.

Há alguns meses a Youzz (uma comunidade onde se pode experimentar e avaliar produtos de várias marcas. Passem por lá!) lançou uma colaboração com a marca Innéov e o seu suplemento alimentar, que promete fixação e crescimento capilar, mais volume e espessura e eu tendo um cabelo fino, com tendência a queda em algumas alturas do ano, decidi experimentar.

O kit que recebi trazia cápsulas suficientes para um mês, e conforme é explicado na embalagem, devem ser tomadas 2 cápsulas por dia. Este suplemento deve ser tomado no mínimo de 3 meses para obter o resultado prometido, por isso ainda não vos vou fazer já o review completo, já que quero experimentar tomar as cápsulas durante os 3 meses.

Durante o primeiro mês devo dizer que notei o cabelo mais bonito e saudável, mas a minha grande surpresa foi a nivel das unhas. O suplemento também atua a nível das unhas e eu notei que as minhas se tornaram mais fortes.

Estou contente com os resultados que tenho visto, mas daqui a 2 meses voltamos a tocar no assunto!

Has launched a collaboration with the brand Innéov and its hair supplement, which promises fixation and hair growth, more volume and thickness. I have a thin hair, with tendency to fall in some heights of the year, so I decided to try.

The kit I received brought enough capsules for one month, and as explained in the package, 2 capsules a day should be taken. This supplement should be taken at least 3 months to get the result promised, so I will not do the full review already, since I want to try taking the capsules during the 3 months.

During the first month I must say I noticed my hair looking beautiful and healthy, but my big surprise was nail level. The supplement also works on the nails and I noticed mine have become stronger.

I'm happy with the results I've seen, but in 2 months we get back to the subject!
